Having a clear out?
If you’ve got a stack of used kids’ clothes and nobody to pass them on to, we can help with that!
We’ll buy your little one’s outgrown wardrobe, and sell it on to be reloved and enjoyed.
How it works:
- Order a prepaid clearout pack free of charge. Clearout packs are available HERE.
You will be required to pay a shipping fee as a bond, which will be refunded when the exchange is complete. - Fill up the provided bag with your outgrown clothing, eight items minimum (prepaid bags are 28cm x 40cm).
- Return the bag to your local post office, in your own time.
- We’ll get in touch upon receiving the items, and pay a you a one-off sum (up to $60 per bag, based on quantity and retail value of the items).
- We’ll list the items in line with our branding, based on size and seasonal demand, to keep them in circulation on your behalf.
Things to note:
- We are currently accepting clothing and shoes, in sizes newborn - 5 years. Larger sizes (2 and up) are in higher demand, and are therefore preferred.
- We won’t accept any items that are stained, damaged or heavily worn, payment may be withheld in this case.
- Fast fashion brands (e.g Anko, Baby Berry, Ricochet, Young Original) are no longer accepted as part of the payment structure.
- Mid-range brands (e.g Cotton On Kids, Mac & Ellie) are accepted, but will be calculated accordingly. See list below for examples of expected quality.
- A small administration fee (to help cover website costs etc.) will be reflected in the exchange price.
- In order to keep our markups low, we don’t offer consignments or sell individual items on behalf of others.
- By participating in this exchange, you effectively transfer ownership of your used clothing over to us.
- Anything that isn’t sold will be donated to local charities or Middlemore Hospital.
- If you’re Auckland-based and have a wardrobe that’s bigger than a large courier bag allows, get in touch about selling in bulk.
We understand this approach won’t suit everyone, and that’s okay! It's a system based on mutual trust, designed to be simple and reliable, minimising the need for ongoing communication. We strongly believe in keeping secondhand clothing affordable and accessible, while doing our best to keep things fair, help out time-poor parents, and maximise clothing recycling.
